Scalpel blade holder handle
Offering excellent grip and intuitive blade assembly and disassembly , this scalpel handle is available in two models:
Handle #3 is compatible with sterile scalpel blades #6, 9, 10, 11, 11P, E11, 12, 12D, 13, 14, 15, 15A, 15C, 15T, 16, 40
Handle #4 is compatible with sterile scalpel blades #18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 22A, 23, 24, 25, 25A, 26, 27, 36.
TIPS FOR MOUNTING AND DISMOUNTING BLADES
To attach a standard blade to a wide or narrow tip handle:
- grasp the blade with pliers or similar instrument, avoiding contact with the cutting edge.
- hold the handle with the other hand with the mount facing up.
- position the blade opening over the handle tip and engage the grooves.
- slide the blade until it clicks into position.
- To make assembly easier, bend (twist downward) the blade slightly as you slide it onto the handle.
To remove the blade:
- grasp the blade with pliers or other similar instrument.
- lift the base of the blade with the tip of your index finger, avoiding contact with the cutting edge, and carefully remove it from the handle.
