In adults with cardiac respiratory arrest (CRA), international recommendations (ERC/AHA) recommend cardiac massage with a rate of at least 100 compressions per minute and an amplitude of 5 to 6 cm maximum. Compressions must be performed correctly to ensure the transport of blood and oxygen.

ZOLL's real CPR help feature instantly converts compression data collected through the CPR-D*Padz electrode and activates an adaptive metronome, which helps the rescuer improve the rate and depth of CPR compressions. An AED that can "see" your chest compressions and help you find the right rate with its adaptive metronome.

Thanks to the pedi padz II electrodes, it can be used on children from 0 to 8 years old. When the electrodes are connected, it recognizes that a pediatric resuscitation is in progress. The ECG analysis algorithm specially developed for pediatric heart rates, coupled with appropriate defibrillation energy levels, allows for the management of both pediatric and adult resuscitations.
